Terms of Service

This document, including all sections below, constitutes the Terms of Service (“Terms”) that govern your access to and use of the services provided by Objectstore.ca (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
These Terms set forth the rights and obligations for all users of the service.
Governing Law: These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
1. Intellectual Property & User Data
Your Ownership of Your Data. You retain all rights and ownership of the data and content that you upload, store, or transmit through our service ("Your Data"). We make no intellectual property claims over Your Data, and we will not sell, rent, or trade it. We also will not use Your Data for the purpose of training our internal models or services.
License to Your Data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to access, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and maintaining our services to you. This license also allows us to perform backups and other technical operations necessary for the security and integrity of the service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant us this license and that Your Data does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
Our Right to Remove Content. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove any content from our service at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, content that we believe may be unlawful, violates these Terms of Service, or is the subject of a valid copyright claim or other legal claim.
2. License to Use Our Services
Grant of License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the service and software. This license is granted for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefits of the service as provided by objectstore.ca and in the manner permitted by these Terms. We reserve the right to revoke this license and terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property Ownership. With the exception of third-party content, all content on the service is the property of objectstore.ca and its licensors. You acknowledge and agree that the services, software, and all intellectual property rights related to them are and shall remain the exclusive property of objectstore.ca. Nothing in this agreement authorizes the use of the trademark, logo, domain names, or other distinctive brand features except where otherwise permitted by law.
3. Prohibited Uses of the Service
You agree not to use the service for any purpose that is prohibited by these Terms or by applicable laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Unlawful Use — violating any local, provincial, federal, or international law or regulation.
- Harmful Content — uploading, transmitting, or otherwise making available content that is threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, or tortious.
- Intellectual Property Infringement — uploading or sharing content for which you do not have the rights, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Interference with Service — engaging in any activity that interferes with, disrupts, or otherwise damages the proper functioning of our service, software, or network, including transmitting viruses or malware.
- Unauthorized Access — attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other users’ accounts, or our systems.
- Scraping and Monitoring — using any manual process or automated device to monitor, copy, or otherwise collect information from our website or service without permission.
- Unsolicited Communications — sending unsolicited messages, spam, or other unwanted communications.
4. Our Rights to Manage the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service, or any part thereof, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We may also modify, suspend, or terminate your account for any reason, including but not limited to, a violation of these Terms or for failure to pay for services. You acknowledge and agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any damages that may result from such modifications, suspensions, or terminations.
5. Third-Party Links
Our service may contain links to websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by objectstore.ca. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of, or reliance on, any such third-party content, goods, or services. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our service and to read the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website or service you visit.
6. Privacy Policy
The collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Billing and Cancellation
Recurring Billing. By subscribing to our services, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are billed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are due at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle. Your initial charge will occur on the date you sign up.
Cancellation of Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. The cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. No pro-rated refunds will be issued for a partial month of service.
Refunds. All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law or as explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
Charge Disputes. If you believe a charge is incorrect, you must contact our customer support team at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge date to initiate a dispute. You agree not to initiate a chargeback with your credit card issuer until you have given us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Initiating a chargeback may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Unpaid Accounts & Data. Failure to pay for services will result in a suspension of your account and a restriction of access to your data. If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted and will not be recoverable.
8. Customer Support
We provide customer support to assist you with inquiries related to account management, billing, and technical issues. Our support team is available via email at [email protected] during our regular business hours. We do not guarantee a specific response time and do not provide support for issues related to third-party integrations or applications.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer of Warranties. The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, licensors, and partners expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
Limitation of Liability. In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you to us in the last six months.
10. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver.
- Severability. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
- Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays due to causes beyond our control.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, emailed to you. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
